The event is taking place at the Valencia Marina from 12 to 15 June

Capdell has participated in Placemaking Week Europe, organised by the Valencia Marina, STIPO – the public office specialising in sustainable urban development and public spaces -, and Placemaking Europe – the network that connects European urban projects.

From the 12th to the 15th of June, more than 400 professionals from 50 countries will be taking part in 35 working sessions held in the installations of the Valencia Marina, in what is the largest European meeting on urban development and the transformation of public spaces. An event designed to allow an in-depth exploration of the tools that are used to plan, design and manage public spaces.

The event has invited companies that are involved in Valencia’s candidacy for World Design Capital and that are interested in Placemaking to participate by exhibiting their products and to furnish public facilities. A presentation on the cities that have been World Design Capital and some reasons as to why Valencia has become a finalist will allow visitors to learn about the process.

Capdell joins this event within the framework of our strategy to encourage and strengthen our line of business focused on the public and institutional sphere. We have certifications that endorse the manufacture of intensive products that are suitable for use in communities.

In Capdell, we are well aware of how important it is to look after of the environment. Our production processes, materials and therefore our products, foster sustainability to produce the least possible environmental impact.

Our teams are prepared to deal with complex furniture projects in areas of common use in public spaces, meeting and transit areas, waiting areas, libraries, etc. This is Capdell’s contribution to creating better cities.
