On the occasion of the World Industrial Design Day, which this year carries the slogan ‘Responsible Consumption and Production’, in line with the objectives of the UN, we want to value Capdell’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
Our tradition historically linked to woodworking is born of handcraft, which is the protagonist in all our collections. The wood we use to give life to our furniture always comes from forests of controlled felling – a tree is planted for each one that is cut – and we have the PEFC certificate.
We use water base stains and glues and almost all of the materials we use are recyclable. Our cutting robots optimizes the discarding of wood and the possible wastes derived from the manufacture process is reused to generate energy that feeds the own production system and heating.
Our commitment to responsible and efficient resource management, has the corresponding certification that certifies the quality of the entire control process.
